E31- Cover and contents sent by Jacqueline Kennedy to Colonel Louis Keene upon the death of President John F. Kennedy. The cover bears the signature of Mrs. Kennedy and a "postage and fees paid" hand stamp. The content of the cover is a black bordered printed card stating "Mrs. Kennedy is deeply appreciative of your sympathy and grateful for you thoughtfulness". Colonel Louis Keene was a veteran of the Western Front in WWII. He served in Siberia with Canadian Expeditionary Force, he has paintings in Canadian War Museum and Commanded Tweedsmuir Military Camp Surrey England in the beginning of 1940. $850.00

E32-SS Noronic was the flagship of Canadian Steamship Lines and the largest passenger cruise ship on the Great Lakes. On a voyage from Windsor and Detroit to the Thousand Islands and back, the Noronic docked for the night at Pier 9 at the foot of Yonge Street. Toronto on September 16, 1949. The Noronic was carrying 522 passengers. A small fire was found to be burning in a linen closet, and in 15 minutes the ship was an inferno. 122 passengers lost their lives. This is a full programme of the SS Noronic from Saturday to Friday. $35.00
